Who we are
Green guava consulting is a social business with the mission to support non-profit organisations become sustainable organisations with well-developed systems, processes, policies and internal controls.
As a social business we operate differently from most consultancies, driven primarily by our mission to see positive change with the organisations we engage.
Our consultants share the same values of our clients, having worked many years’ for and as senior management in non-profit organisations.
This allows us to understand from first-hand experience the challenges of the sector, and the need to adapt solutions to the local context, organisational culture, and unique circumstances of each of our clients.
Why the name
Green Guava?
Guava is pronounced the same globally and represents the diversity of our associate consultants who, like the fruit, are present in all continents our client’s work.
Green because we seek to bring a fresh approach in all we do.
How we operate
We care about the impact of our work. We operate differently from most consultancies, driven primarily by our mission to see positive change with the organisations we engage. Our consultants come from the non-profit world and share the same values as our clients. We are committed to maximising the impact of work at each stage of the consultancy to support organisations to grow sustainably.
We believe the approach matters as much as the outputs. We follow the adage ‘it’s not the destination, but the journey that matters. We design our services and solutions to ensure our approach adds real value along the way to the final deliverable. For instance, when we develop a new policy, we look to ensure it fits with existing policies, has buy in from the key stakeholders, and the client has a clear implementation plan.
We tailor our services and solutions to our clients’ needs. These needs can arise from budgetary constraints, timing issues, organisational structure, or language requirements. Although our clients share many of the same challenges, our approach to these challenges is always unique to the specific context of each organisation. We focus on building flexible solutions that are based on proven approaches and address our clients’ specific needs.

Adrian Giordano Imbroll
Executive Director
Adrian brings over 20 years of extensive expertise as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) specialising in financial reporting, strategic financial management, taxation and regulatory compliance. With a commitment to professionalism, integrity, and client-centricity, our consultancy prioritizes delivering customised solutions tailored to our clients’ needs and objectives.
Adrian holds senior leadership positions as Director of a non-profit organisation and companies of varying sizes. Adrian is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practicioners, Institute of Financial Services Practicioners, Institute of Accountants and of the institute of Taxation. Adrian is bilingual in English and Italian.
Rob Hill
Audit Director
Rob Hill is the Audit Director at Green Guava consulting. He is a senior finance professional with 15 years international NGO experience. Rob is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and has a Masters in development studies from University of Southampton in the United Kingdom. He trained as an auditor with Sayer Vincent working mainly with non profit clients before working in senior finance roles at MSI, BBC Media Action, C40 Climate Action and Global Witness. He has travelled extensively in Africa and Asia and worked in India, South Africa and Angola where he was finance director for Goal. Rob is based in the UK.
Vacant
Consultancy Project Manager
Responsible for maintaining and supporting the project management and time keeping systems and processes for managing the end to end delivery of client engagements. Role focusses on the efficiency of the client delivery processes ensuring each project is delivered in scope, on time, and on budget.
Green Guava Consultants
We have currently a team of over 55 associate consultants based in 20 countries across North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa and Asia. These are consultants with on average over 15+ years of demonstrable consulting experience in their field of expertise. In addition, we collaborate with other regional consultancy firms where needed. This ensures that we can work with consultants that represent the diversity of our clients, who are located close to the organizations we partner with, and who understand the local context in which clients operate, as they will have often worked in and with similar organizations.
